Battlefield Trauma Care

ABOUT

Tactical Medics Group's "Battlefield Trauma Care" (BTC) Course follows the DHA/JTS "All Service Members" (ASM) curriculum, providing an 8.5-hour Continuing Education Credit approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Designed for those with no prior medical training, this hands-on course introduces Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) using a crawl-walk-run approach. Students learn essential lifesaving skills through practical exercises, with minimal PowerPoint presentations—just enough to reinforce key concepts. Each skill is taught on-site at dedicated stations by experienced TCCC educators, ensuring real-world application and understanding.

BTC covers everything in your IFAK, battlefield PPE setup, rapid casualty assessment, and critical communication and documentation techniques—all meeting the DHA/JTS standards for ASM. These proven, simple, and effective techniques can be performed by anyone, regardless of medical experience.

Upon completion, students will have a solid foundation in TCCC at a basic proficiency level—equipped with the skills to save lives in critical situations.

WHO'S IT FOR?

Battlefield Trauma Care course is meant for all Entry level or non medical providers . Perfect for those who are new first responders with zero official TCCC training,  carry concealed , hunters, or anyone just wanted to know what to do if they're ever put into a situation where these new found skills could be used.
